Oxford Deed Activity Stays Light as Most August Sale Prices Go Unrecorded
Oxford recorded five property deeds between Aug. 14 and Sept. 12, all dated Aug. 14, but only one disclosed a sale price: $435,000, for a property sold by Codey M. Drummond to Webster Five Cents Savings Bank and Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems Inc. The other four deeds, covering Fort Hill Road, Main Street, Laurelwood Drive and Conlin Road, carried no reported price. Several filings named banks or mortgage-related entities as grantor or grantee, meaning not all may reflect a typical homeowner sale. With four of five prices undisclosed, this month's registry data offers only a partial view of local property values.
